Hyperion EPM Senior Developer to join a highly visible, fast paced transit program. This position includes collaboration with both technical and non-technical personnel across all project stakeholders. The Hyperion EPM Senior Developer will join a team that maintains and enhances the planning applications within the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management system. This includes designing, developing, and implementing solutions using best practice standards. In addition, this role will work closely with the client budget/account office to document their requirements for all functionality changes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Delivering enhancements relating to all functionality within Hyperion Planning, including Metadata, calculation scripts, business rules, web forms, SmartView, and security.
• Work with the business teams to develop Hyperion software-based Client functional/Technical requirements, including enhancements and updates to integration with PeopleSoft Financials and HCM.
• Ensure functional and technical requirements are met through development, code fixes, enhancements, system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities.
• As a project team member to recommend, develop, and implement improvements to existing processes and standards related to quality management and implementation techniques of Client Hyperion software.
• Coordinate with internal and external support staff for issue resolution.
• Effectively communicate all system modifications to business users and change control.
• Stay abreast of Oracle EPM releases to determine implementation impact.
• Coordinate and support EPM architecture and infrastructure issues and initiatives
• Hyperion developer responsible for development and administration of the Hyperion Planning, Oracle data integrator, and Essbase, as well as reporting using both Hyperion Financial Reporting and OBIEE
• Experience with Data Warehousing Modeling concept

Education & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or similar.
• 15+ Years of work experience in an equivalent field is required.
• 13+ Years of experience Skills must have on these Oracle EPM 11.1.2.4 product suite (Hyperion Planning – Public Sector Planning and Budgeting, FDMEE, DRM), Financial Reporting Web Studio, Oracle Data Integrator 11G, Oracle Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service (EPRCS), SmartView
• Nice to have Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Exadata databases, IBM Jazz, and Linux AIX systems.

Requirements:

• Conduct root causes analysis and develops solutions leveraging enterprise-wide practices related to Client Hyperion software based on Project Change Requests, Tasks, and Defects.
• Understanding of Business Analysis for dimensional data models
• Administer Hyperion applications that contain the financial data.
• Manage Metadata - base hierarchies attribute dimensions and alternate hierarchies accordingly to house the needs of the organization within Data Relationship Management (DRM)
• Create data forms using the best-optimized methods to enhance the current capabilities of users for existing functionalities, new functionalities, and better visualization of data.
• Create Task Lists comprising of Composite data forms, Master Composite forms, and Action Menu options to enable navigation along tasks for users to manage during the budgeting cycle.
• Design and optimize business rules to run various calculations using Calculation Manager to enable necessary operations required and extract data for batch processes.
• Create FR reports using FR Web Studio to create financial reporting of Board Indicators for Operating Expense budgeting.
• Leverage ODI Knowledge modules and data stores to extract data from Hyperion and load it to OBIEE for consolidated position budget reports.
• ODI and FDMEE Integration Experience, including scheduling using Python Scripts and ODI/FDMEE is a must.
• Enhance and update Jython scripts driving FDMEE automation via custom scripts and ODI procedures to perform data loads using Outline Load Utility and run integrations with database tables.
• Maintain/Modify Shell scripts for automation and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux). Retrofit of the Integrations and Application (Forms, Calculation Scripts, Security, FR, and other artifacts)
• Maintain and update security enabled at Member level/Data Level on dimensions/filters to restrict user data access and System Level Security access.
• The position will provide the maintenance, governance, testing, and process administration functions required to maintain the Hyperion Financial Reporting applications in support of the period forecast, budget, and planning processes.
• Experience communicating and coordinating deliverables with offshore support.
• Understanding of EPM Infrastructure and Architecture.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
