The Curriculum team plans, builds and maintains industry-leading programmes. We build training content that changes lives. The content we build is engaging, interactive, and cutting-edge, using modern training tools and creative approaches to content development. The content we build supports Operations, Marketing, Sales and Compliance and is fundamental to the success of the business as a whole.
The role:
This is an interim opportunity for a subject matter expert in sales & operations managementwho is passionate about creating an exciting new type of degree. You will work closely with our Director of Curriculum for our Chartered Manager degree apprenticeship programmes to develop academic learning content for specific modules in sales & operations management. You will plan and build industry-leading academic learning content that will form a part of our Chartered Manager degree apprenticeship that allows organisations to develop the skills of their workforce and deliver maximum, real-world impact. Responsibilities include:
- Be the subject matter expert on teaching and developing content for sales & operations management
- Plan and build the sales & operations managementmodule in ourChartered Manager degree apprenticeship
- Write engaging, interactive and concise eLearning content that has real business impact and gets learners to End-Point Assessment on time with minimal dropouts
- Work collaboratively with the curriculum team to design and continuously improve our suite of high quality, interactive workshops
- Plan first-class audio and video content and work with our AV team and external contractors to produce it
- Collate high-quality, targeted further learning/reading lists for each module
- Quickly and thoroughly research new topics in order to produce cutting-edge professional content
- Ensure our programme continues to meet all the requirements of the Apprenticeship Standard and CCL learning outcomes for our degree
- Produce and maintain programme guides, templates and supporting documentation to support learners and Professional Development Experts
- Support the upskilling of Professional Development Experts to deliver the programme
- Work closely and collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders, such as those in the teams of Curriculum, Assessment, Marketing and Operations
- Work effectively with external stakeholders as directed
- Work collaboratively with other Directors of Curriculum on other programmes both current and future
- Follow the responsibilities and guidelines set out for the Curriculum Team to produce high quality content on time, complete administrative processes, and deliver positive behaviours and communication
- Make sure Personal Development Behaviour and Attitudes (PDBA), and Off-The-Job-Hours (OTJH) requirements are seamlessly met in the programme
- Ensure content is cutting-edge

Experience and Skills:
Essential:
- Experience writing educational/training content about the cross-functional nature of sales, marketing and operational activity
- Understanding the strategic perspective of the cross-functional working across sales and operations departments in real-world context
- Must have MBA or strategy, sales and/or operations qualification at level 7 and above
- Must have industry experience of working across sales and operations teams and developing service and/or product improvement strategies
- Experience delivering training
Desirable:
- A teaching/coaching qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the Chartered Manager degree apprenticeship standard
- Experience writing degree-level educational/training content for online programmes
- Experience of delivering a Degree Apprenticeship or online degree
- Experience of writing sales & operations management or related Apprenticeship training content
