Position Overview
World-class. That’s how we describe the properties we build and manage here at Core Spaces. One goal of the Technology Team is to allow for a solid digital foundation for the rest of the organization to build upon. To complement the successful growth of Core Spaces’ real estate portfolio and staff, we are in need of someone to help standardize our network across our corporate offices and various community sites across the country. This is a ground-up process. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing both physical and virtual networks, identifying gaps in systems and processes, drafting new SOPs, and enacting development plans. What You Will Do
- Design and iterate toward a work-from-anywhere, multi-protocol, multi-vendor network.
- Develop tools for deployment and configuration management of devices.
- Define and implement a network support process to provide regional-based support to our communities across the United States.
- Work with device manufacturers, service providers, low-voltage contract partners, and other vendors to build, integrate and expand the network.
- Collaborate closely with internal company network providers, community leaders, and IT leadership to design and support our site locations.
- Develop network operations model for delivery services and reliability.
- Provide training and development to IT support staff around network operations.
- Present to leadership annual networking plans, goals, and objectives.
- Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ideally, you'll have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
- 4+ years of network implementation and operational experience or some combination
- Experience with CCNA, Network+ and other industry standard network certifications and best practices
- Knowledge of SSO, CASB, SD-WAN, Firewalls, VPN’s, and network security standards and how to best implement them.
You'll crush it if you have experience with
- Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA, Microtik or other commercial router solutions.
- Cisco Meraki
- SSO (Okta)
- Perimeter 81, Netskope or similar CASB / SaaS based VPN solutions
