Information Technology Assurance practice goes beyond regulatory requirements to truly strengthen a company’s cybersecurity posture.
All IT Assurance Senior Associates are expected to have a good understanding of enterprise information technology in a business environment (Examples: common operating systems, applications, incident response procedures, logging, and monitoring. A Senior Associate’s primary function is to develop policies and procedures, execute controls testing, and perform walk-throughs while making strong connections between guidance and a client’s specific environment and industry.
Senior Associates have the technical knowledge and experience to work independently in delivering the growth mindset experience to our Cyber clients. Senior Associates must have strong project management and communication skills.
Job Qualifications
(Will need to provide NBI certificate as soon as possible after hire to ensure security clearance guidelines are met)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a closely related technical degree program.
- Recent two (2) to four(4) years of experience in IT auditing or consulting, demonstrating a progression in complexity and number of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to communicate technical details to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Good understanding of information systems testing procedures and practices
- Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner
- Begin to take a lead role and work well in a team environment
- Actively leading planning and scheduling client projects, when necessary.
- Actively assist in recruiting entry-level and experienced staff.
- Willingness to take individual responsibility to learn new technology introduced by the Firm as appropriate for the service/practice area.
- Good knowledge of Information Security
- Advanced understanding of infrastructure and data flow diagrams
- Good experience in detailed process documentation
- Ability to independently perform walk-throughs with clients; and communicate current project status to various stakeholders, including issues and next day plan
