Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager position is part of our Professional Services team managing new or existing customer ERP software implementations and/or other complex projects. Projects may include complex consulting projects, software upgrades or large-scale training and re-training initiatives. Project Managers are responsible for working closely with the customer to develop a project timeline and ensure the projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Essential Tasks
- Effectively negotiate timelines with the customer
- Coordinate and manage project planning and execution for multiple projects.
- Provide a timely response to customer questions.
- Effectively manage and communicate information on multiple projects.
- Ensure that Change Management controls are in place to stay within project scope.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Approve and manage resource billable hours and contract tasks.
- Conduct project meetings and frequently communicate project status with all stakeholders (customers and account team) including client task deliverables.
- Provide leadership to and supervise the project team.
- Be positive with customers especially when decisions may not be well received.
- Additional duties as assigned by Manager.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related
- 7+ years’ project management experience managing software implementation projects from start to finish
- Higher Education Experience · Experience with MS Project or other project management tool
- Experience with Smartsheet or other project collaboration tool.
- PMP preferred
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
The pay range for this position is $59,000-$80,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
