Social5 is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to oversee a technology infrastructure that now provides automated social media marketing services for more than 2,000 businesses across North America.
Social5 needs someone who is excited to explore, learn and oversee our platform, which was custom-coded using a LAMP stack to provide content distribution to social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. You will be comfortable working remotely, as our technical team of one, to manage our technology infrastructure and ensure its optimal functionality.
Ideal candidates will have a strong working knowledge of PHP, jQuery and CSS. They will be able to effectively work with a technology stack that includes Linux (CentOS), Apache (LiteSpeed), MySQL (MariaDB) and WordPress. They will be comfortable with unit testing (PHPUnit) and end-to-end testing (Playwright).
They will be familiar with the developer side of social media, ensuring that our connections to third-party publishing APIs remain functional in an ever-changing environment. And they will be experienced with managing deployments in both dedicated (LiquidWeb) and cloud hosting environments (Amazon AWS).
The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in a remote environment, be able to sync as needed with US business hours. Written and spoken English will be used to communicate with US team.
